PEOPLE-FIRST PRIORITIES
-
All of our neighbors deserve to live in a safe, accessible and enjoyable community – from the roads we drive to our parks and recreational facilities. On City Council, I will prioritize through thoughtful legislation, strategic planning, and resource allocation to enhance and improve quality of life for residents. I believe in the promise of a vibrant, walkable downtown/city center in Livonia at 5 Mile & Farmington as well as preserving our libraries as they are great institutions for learning.
-
Small businesses are the backbone of our community, and we need to do everything we can to support their growth and success. I’ll work to streamline permitting and make it easier for our entrepreneurs to make their dreams a reality, foster economic stability, and create more good local jobs in our community.
-
Everyone deserves access to a secure and affordable place to live. As your voice on City Council, I’ll prioritize commonsense solutions so that housing options are accessible and align with our community needs — for everyone from young families to working professionals to our seniors who have lived here for decades. As a renter I understand the need for affordable housing options in our community and want to work hard to make homeownership a realistic option for all.
-
Everyone deserves to live in a safe neighborhood without fear of threats or violence. I will work to create an even safer community in which all of our families can thrive and ensure our police, fire, and EMS receive the funding and resources they need to do their jobs.
-
On City Council, I’ll work to make sure that trash pickup and snow removal on city roads is meeting the standard. I will communicate regularly with DTE when there are power outages in our community.
-
Local arts organizations and cultural events enrich residents’ lives and contribute to a stronger economy. On City Council, I’ll support such initiatives to create an even more vibrant arts scene that attracts visitors, creates jobs, and enhances the overall quality of life for residents. As a musician with a choral background, I understand the importance of supporting fine arts.
-
Civic participation empowers residents to shape their community's future and ensures that diverse voices are heard in decision-making processes. I’ll encourage opportunities for active resident engagement in local governance to foster a sense of belonging and strengthen the fabric of our community.
